Picture this: I'm on my way to meet up with this girl I've been crushing on forever, right. Super excited, nervous, you know the drill. We've been friends since school, but I was always too scared to tell her that I liked her. Stupidly, I waited until she moved hundreds of miles away to university before I plucked up the courage to ask her out. I couldn't believe my luck when she said yes, so I hit the road on what was supposed to be the best day of my life! 

I was well on my way, had been driving for well over an hour and even texted her with my ETA, but fate had other plans! 

I began to feel my car vibrating more than it should and a strange noise signalled something was very wrong.
